A Local Remodeling Company Built Around Accountability
A local remodeling company and general contractor serving homeowners across Northern Virginia, Fredericksburg, Maryland and Washington, DC.

Our story
Built around planning, not guesswork
Virginia Pro Remodel was formed around a simple idea: remodeling projects go better when design and construction are handled by one accountable team instead of being split between separate companies who never talk to each other directly.
We work with homeowners across Northern Virginia, the Fredericksburg region, Maryland and Washington, DC on kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and whole-home renovations. Every project starts with the same questions: how do you actually use the space, what is not working, and what would make it work.
From there, our team develops a layout, confirms it against the structure and systems already in the house, and documents the scope before any wall comes down. That sequence is not extra process for its own sake — it is what keeps a schedule and a budget realistic once construction starts.
How we work
What it means to work with one team
One contractor plans your project, pulls the permits and builds it — no handoffs between companies.
In a traditional model, homeowners hire a designer or architect first, then separately hire a contractor to build what was drawn. If the design turns out to be over budget or difficult to build, the homeowner is stuck coordinating changes between two companies who were not in the room together.
The same team develops the layout, selects materials with real availability and cost in mind, prepares permit drawings, and then builds the project. Constructability and budget are part of the conversation from the first meeting, not a surprise after the drawings are finished.
Why it matters to you
- One point of contact and one contract for design and construction
- Decisions get made once, not renegotiated between companies
- Selections are checked against the budget before you commit
- Permit drawings reflect what can actually be built
